Happy Valentine's Day?

Thank you all for tuning in! So, it's been two days since Valentine's Day. Many people celebrate it with their loved ones. For those of you who do, I hope it was a great day for me. As for me, I don't really care for it. It's another day on the calendar, just like my birthday. I see no importance in celebrating it.

So many people send their loved ones flowers, chocolates, and all types of meaningless gifts. They'll take their loved ones on dates. Usually, it's the men who do it. Very few women (compared to men) will take the initiative. I will say that I used to celebrate this day, and I don't remember the last time anyone has done anything for me on Valentine's Day, nor do I remember the last time I actually celebrated it (not that this last part matters).

That said, Valentine's Day is nothing more than a Hallmark holiday where people pick one of a few days out of the year to show someone that they care. Why can't we do these things on any other random day? Why do we need a calendar to tell us when to plan a special date or buy some gift? Why not a random Tuesday?

Why do men go out of their way and simp for their women on a day like this and get nothing back in return? Even when the men try to simp their way into their women's hearts, why are the women so ungrateful anyway?

Why do the women in this situation love their men so hard only for their men to treat them like dirt? Why are the men who do treat their women poorly deadbeats anyway? Did they not receive any love as children?

Valentine's Day is a scam. So many of you still fall for it today by buying all the flowers, chocolates, teddy bears, and dinner dates. You fall for it, and so many of you still get your hearts broken. So many of you still get cheated on down the road. So many of you still get lied to.

Valentine's Day is also a pagan holiday, the biggest reason I'll never celebrate it again.

Hey, these are only my thoughts, and I'm sure they don't matter to you, but I felt like posting this because it's my blog, and whether you like it or not, if you've made it this far, you kissed my ass by reading it anyway.

Happy Post-Valentine's Day!

Until next time, God Bless.
